The Law ratified the Memorandum between Ukraine as the Borrower and the European Union as the Lender signed on April 28 and on May 13, 2014 in Brussels, and on May 12, 2014 in Kyiv, and the Loan Agreement between Ukraine as the Borrower, National Bank of Ukraine as an Agent of the borrower and the European Union as the Creditor signed on April 24, 2014 in Luxembourg, on May 12, 2014 in Kyiv and on May 13, 2014 in Brussels on providing Ukraine with the EU macro-financial assistance amounting to EUR 1 billion, which come into force on the day of the EU’s receiving written messages from Ukraine on carrying out domestic procedures, stipulated by Ukrainian legislation, necessary for these agreements to come into force.
